St. Ann: New Ministries Fund Campaign

Make a donation

The Archdiocese has given us a grace period of a year on our mortgage payments. This is to allow us to discern the needed ministries that have been on hold while we were concentrating on reducing our debts. The donations in the gold envelopes at the end of the pews will help provide the seed money to get us from hoping for these ministries to making these ministries happen. Thank you for your contributions!!

The Centennial Debt Reduction Campaign has ended. Details of that campaign are below.

2018 Campaign
The Archdiocese matched $25,000.

2017 Campaign
Our mortgage debt is over a million dollars.  We have a matching grant of $40,000 from the archdiocese. For every dollar we raise to reduce our debt, the archdiocese will give us a dollar up to the $40,000. That could knock off $80,000.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 during our centennial year. Many people have been hard at work trying to meet our goal. Girl's Night Out, rosary offered, eating at Applebee's, selling greeting cards and coasters, scrap booking event, and our Reverse Raffle. We have T-shirts for purchase and centennial plastic beer mugs.  If we meet our goal, we will save another $100,000 in interest over the life of the loan

At the first weekend of each month, we have a special collection that now goes to our Centennial Debt Reduction Fund. When you contribute in the Building Fund envelopes each month, that money now goes to the Centennial Debt Reduction Fund, too.

Until December 31, 2017, all Centennial Debt Reduction Funds will be used to reduce the principal on our debt of over a million dollars. Thanks to the archdiocese, we do not have to pay the interest on our mortgage this year.
