Purpose of New Program
The Archdiocese of Indianapolis has chosen the “SafeParish” program for several reasons. It provides easier access to child protection training for clergy, employees, and volunteers. It allows us to broaden the focus of the training to increase awareness of all forms of child abuse.
The training is available online in English and Spanish 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. It takes about 45 minutes to complete and can be done in parts.
Who is Required to Sign Up for this Program?
SafeParish Training is a requirement for all volunteers regardless of their ministry area. If you are 18 years of age or older, and you volunteer in any ministries here at St. Ann, you must comply with all the requirements.
Access
For first time access, you must obtain the initial passcode from the Safe Environment Coordinator at St. Ann. Afterward, click here to go to the home page. Click on "Register". After submitting the passcode, you will go through the registration process which includes creating a username and password for future logins.
